Cream Puffs - Choux à la Crème
Simple and yet a delectable treat,
cream puffs are seen to many as a delicacy. With its soft and fragrant
pastry to the smooth and creamy filling,
many know cream puffs as the pinch in your pocket treat in fancy
bakeries or "this isn't a cream puff" store-bought grocery variety.
But why buy them when you can make them at home?

Soft Sweet Bun Cluster
Nothing beats a cluster of freshly baked homemade buns. These buns are amazingly soft, and delicious. Slightly sweetened, these buns can be eaten independently, without the extra serving of butter or jam. They can be eaten for breakfast with a cup of hot caffeinated drink (mocha, cappuccino, or just coffee with cream) or just eaten plain, as a snack.

Jam Filled Thumbprint Cookies
Just another unproductive day I would say! I really want to know who invented procrastination because I really I want smack them behind the head right now. But then again if not for them, I wouldn't be able to bake all of these treats =D !
These cookies are a must try!!! I got this recipe from my aunt a few years back and they are the best. They are soft and buttery, just melt in your mouth good. I think I've eaten six by the time I was done with my second batch!

Chocolaty Brownies
CHOCOLATE!!!!! For years I spent all my money on box brownie mixes whenever I felt like eating this delicious treat. Don't get me wrong, box brownies mixes are delicious but I just like the feeling of making something completely from scratch. Three years ago I finally found the best recipe (with a few alterations)ever.

Spiced Banana Bread
I was bored this weekend and had "nothing" to do (other than study). To procrastinate and waste more time, I went through my recipe box and debated on what I wanted to bake. After half an hour or so of looking, I still couldn't decide on what to bake. I went scavenging through my pantry and saw that I didn't have a lot of ingredients on hand to work with. By then I was like "oh well, back to studying". Then I looked over into my fruit bowl and saw five or six over ripped bananas that I have been meaning to use for my smoothies. Instead, I decided to make a batch of banana bread. This is a quick bread, so that was easy because I didn't have the time to make bread that involved rising time.

Welcome to my blog!
Hello everyone and welcome to my blog!
I've been wanting to blog about my baking (and cooking) adventures for quite some time now but I never really got around to it. So here I am and ready to share my recipes and learned techniques! I am surely not a professional chef or baker (Though I usually feel like one when I succeed in one of my baking and cooking adventures.) I noticed that the recipes that I find online are not always reliable and because of that, I am hoping that the recipes that I provide will help you succeed in your baking (and cooking) adventures!
Now a little about myself:
Wow, where do I begin?! First fact: My name is Rosalyn. Second fact: I am a college student and I've been baking/cooking ever since I could remember. I really don't have a specific treat that I like to make but currently I am really into bread making. What else?!... I think that's enough about me!
Thank you for visiting my blog and hope you come back for seconds!!!
